Two different problems
The government record itself is wrong or out of date
We republish what the agency publishes and cannot change their record. Reinstatements and corrections have to be made at the source, after which they flow through here on the next refresh. For federal exclusions, contact HHS OIG directly. For a state record, contact the agency named on the result.
We have misrepresented what the source says
A record shown as current when the source reinstated it, a name attached to the wrong jurisdiction, a stale fetch, a parsing error – these are ours, and we will fix them. This is also the right place to flag a search that surfaces you for a name that is not yours.
Report it
Email corrections@tryharper.app with the record URL or the name and jurisdiction, and what you believe is incorrect. Include a link to the official source if you have one – it is the fastest route to a fix.
You do not need to explain your interest or identify yourself beyond what is needed to find the record.
